Currently performing throughout the Mid-south, Eddie and his 7-piece band, the ShortKuts, are a full time entertainment group who have been on the "scene" for well over thirty years. Eddie has collaborated and recorded at Stax Records with the likes of Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Eddie Floyd, Steve Cropper, Booker T. and many other former Stax superstars.

Eddie is a singer-pianist who also performs solo in various venues. Notable highlights for Eddie's engagements include concerts with The Temptation, Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, Lou Rawls, Rita Coolidge, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Mary Wells, Sly and the Family Stone and even Elvis Presley.
